The arms of Bad Goisern	Bad Goisern, a small town, lies in the centre of a collection of 31 small villages in the Salzkammargut area of Austria - Austria's Lake District - with a total of 8,462 inhabitants and covers 112.5 square kilometers, or nearly 43.5 square miles. It is a famous centre for mountain biking, with an annual Mountain Bike Marathon held in July. It also has extensive walking and hiking trails and for skiers,Bad Goisern lies about 8 kilometers, or 5 miles, from the ski area of Gosau with its downhill and cross country ski trails. Outdoor Swimming Complex in Goisern	Bad Goisern has almost every amenity required to make your holiday comfortable, including several supermarkets, banks and hairdressers. With a butchers a bakers, chemist, shops and restaurants as well as a Train Station. The River Traun runs through the village with cycle/ walking paths alongside the river towards Bad Ischl. The next town of Hallstatt a few miles up the valley is in a UNESCO World Heritage Area and is famous for its situation on the side of the Lake and it’s Salt Mine.
